With rain in the forecast for the next nine days, some metro Atlanta colleges and universities are changing their graduation plans.

Georgia Piedmont Technical College announced that its graduation ceremony would be held at Springfield Baptist Church, located at 1877 Iris Drive S.E. in Conyers. The ceremony will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 19 and will also be live streamed on the college's website.
Clark Atlanta University plans to hold its graduation on Monday, May 21 in its outdoor football stadium "rain or shine," according to the school's website. The stadium is located at 735 Beckwith St. S.W. in Atlanta. The ceremony begins at 8 a.m. and will also be streamed at CAU's website.
Morehouse College will hold its graduation at 8 a.m. on Sunday, May 20 at the outdoor Century Campus space. There will be indoor viewing locations for guests in case of rain, spokeswoman Aileen Dodd said. Find more information about Morehouse's commencement at its website.
Spelman College's graduation will also be on May 20, beginning at 3 p.m. The ceremony will be held at the Georgia International Convention Center at 2000 Convention Center Concourse in College Park. The baccalaureate Ceremony will be held at the same location at 9 a.m. on May 19, but the Baccalaureate Reception has been canceled due to inclement weather. Morris Brown College will hold its graduation on Satuday, May 19 at 4 p.m. The venue, Big Bethel AME Church, is indoors, so the weather will not change the location. The church is located at 220 Auburn Ave. N.E. in Atlanta.
