Clayton and Fayette schools have set dates and times for public hearings around their fiscal 2021 budgets.

The Fayette Board of Education is holding virtual hearings for public comment on the system’s $229.5 million budget at 7 p.m. June 15 and June 20.

The district said public comments can be made by using “Procedures for Public Comment During FCBOE Virtual Board Meetings” on the school system’s website.

In Clayton, virtual hearings on the county school system’s $694.1 million fiscal 2021 budget will be held at 6 p.m. on June 10 and June 17. Public comments can be submitted by email and should be submitted by 5:45 p.m. for the June 10 meeting and again by 5:45 p.m. for the June 17 hearing.

All comments will be read into the record of the hearing, Clayton schools said. The fiscal 2021 budget will be adopted at 6 p.m. at the June 22 school board meeting.
