Officers also found a bag of methamphetamine on Reece during his arrest, Johnson said.

Reece is accused of jumping into the van during a Bearden Funeral Home service Oct. 4 as mourners were filing into the chapel.

At the time, the van was being prepared to take flowers to the cemetery, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution previously reported.

Reece, of Dawsonville, was charged with theft by taking, unlawfully entering an auto and possession of a controlled substance.

He is currently in jail, Johnson said.
