A new agreement signed this fall between Georgia Perimeter College and Clayton State University will allow students studying to become high school teachers to transfer seamlessly between the two schools.

The new agreement lets Georgia Perimeter students who earn associate degrees in teacher education to enroll in Clayton State to finish bachelor degrees in teaching.Students will be certified secondary education teachers after graduating from Clayton State’s program.

The two schools expect to launch a similar program for middle school teacher education students in fall 2015.
