Fourth- and fifth-graders at Sixes Elementary School in Cherokee County recently competed in a video production contest promoting the school's #BeKind initiative. Teams of students developed their own two- to three-minute video using 21st-Century learning tools. Each video promoted the importance of being thoughtful and sharing kindness, which is a theme for Sixes Elementary. The two winning teams received certificates and a special lunch with the school's administrators. Winning team videos can be found on the school's website and social media outlets (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oLoUXzA7r8s).
