Freshmen and sophomores from Dunwoody High School had been shipped to Peachtree Middle School to continue classes after the high school lost water. Those students will return, as water is now flowing at the high school.

EARLIER STORY:

Classes at Dunwoody High School were moved for the day to Peachtree Middle School because of a water outage at the school.

School district officials said about 1,400 students were moved from the high school, at 5035 Vermack Road in Dunwoody, to the middle school, at 464 North Peachtree Road in Atlanta.

Students were expected to finish the school day at the middle school, then be bused back to the high school for dismissal at 3:10 p.m., officials said.

Officials did not know Monday what caused the water outage, but said the building would reopen Tuesday.
