Clayton County offers help to get kids ready for school

The Clayton County Board of Health will provide back to school services including state required vaccinations, at reduced fees.

The services include vaccinations, nutrition, vision and hearing screenings; and dental check-ups. There is a $15 fee for three vaccinations and $25 for dental, vision, hearing and nutrition screening. The services are Thursdays from July 20 to August 10, 8a.m. - 4 p.m. at the health department at 1117 Battle Creek Road in Jonesboro. Accepted methods of payment are Medicaid, Peach State Health Plan, WellCare, health insurance claims, cash, check, Visa and MasterCard. For more information call (678) 610-7199 ext. 6516.
