A Lilburn man is now a multi-millionaire.

John Strickland Jr. purchased a “Maximum Green” instant ticket worth $5 million from the Snellville BP gas station at 3739 Stone Mountain Hwy., Georgia Lottery spokeswoman Kimberly M. Starks said Friday afternoon in an emailed statement.

Strickland picked up his prize March 10 at the Georgia Lottery District Office in Duluth, she said.

Lottery officials did not say how Strickland plans to use the money.
