Sandy Springs officials are seeking nominees for the city’s 2015 Humanitarian Award, which honors the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr.

The award recognizes individuals who embody King’s record of character and service. Nominees must live or work within the city of Sandy Springs to be eligible. A volunteer committee will select the winner, who will be honored during the city’s annual MLK Day observance Jan. 19.

The deadline for submissions is Dec. 5, and the nomination form can be found at www.sandyspringsga.gov/MLK.
