Double shooting in SW Atlanta leaves 2 hospitalized
The shooting happened at the Atlanta Food Mart on Donnelly Avenue.
Two people were rushed to a hospital Friday night after a shooting at a southwest Atlanta convenience store.
Officers called to the Atlanta Food Mart on Donnelly Avenue around 8:30 p.m. found the two victims suffering from gunshot wounds, Atlanta police said. Both were conscious when they were taken to the hospital.
Investigators from APD’s aggravated assault unit were called to investigate the shooting. No suspects had been identified and police did not release the victims’ names.
