Police in South Florida said a 28-year-old woman sold heroin as her two children sat in her car Friday afternoon.
Loreal Durham, of Delray Beach, faces charges of selling heroin and child neglect. She was being booked into the Palm Beach County jail tonight and is expected to make her first appearance in court Saturday morning.
Friday afternoon, Boynton Beach officers watched as Durham allegedly sold heroin to a police informant as her 4-year-old and a 5-year-old sat in her car.
Police did not say where the transaction took place or how much heroin was sold. The Department of Children and Families was notified about the incident and will decide where to place the children.
Durham was arrested in 2008 for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and pleaded guilty to the charges, police records show.
