Cartersville woman charged in death of NC woman, 91
A Cartersville woman has been charged in connection with the beating death of an elderly woman in Raleigh, N.C. 12 years ago, according to news reports.
Cathy Lynne Lentini, 53, was arrested on a murder charge in the death of Beulah Dickerson, 91, according to a report in WRAL.com.
The elderly woman was found dead in her home on the morning of Oct. 24, 2001. Authorities said she died of blunt force trauma.
Lentini, formerly known as Cathy Piper, used to live near Dickerson before she relocated to Cartersville, authorities told WRAL.com. Officials did not comment on a motive for the crime.
