The Sandy Springs Police Department has released body cam footage of the May 29 arrest of Braves player Marcell Ozuna.

Major League Baseball announced Monday that the outfielder would retroactively receive an unpaid 20-game suspension for violating MLB’s Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Policy.

He was arrested on domestic violence charges against his wife, Genesis. Felony charges were later dropped to two misdemeanors of family violence battery and assault. He agreed to enter the pretrial diversion program, which could lead to the charges being dismissed.

“Any instance of domestic violence is unacceptable,” the Braves said in a statement. “We are encouraged to know that Marcell has accepted full responsibility for his actions and is taking the necessary measures to learn and grow from the situation.”
