FAA documents show that a commercial pilot, Edmund Draper, flew dangerously low over his home in Maryland prior to a landing in 2012.

The Delmarva Daily Times obtained FAA documents that show that the pilot flew a turboprop Bombardier Dash 8 with about 24 passengers about 500 feet over a mall as well as his home in on Dec. 21, 2012. The flight, operated by Piedmont Airlines, was on its way to Wicomico Regional Airport from Philadelphia.

FAA investigators revoked his airline transport pilot certificate in 2013 citing the plane was operating at an "...excessive speed and dangerously low altitude when not necessary for landing." (USA Today)

The Federal Aviation Administration registry indicates that he again has his ATP certificate as well as his flight instructor certificate. He no longer works for Piedmont Airlines. (WBOC)
