Snow in metro Atlanta: Ice shuts down all northbound lanes of I-75 in northern Cobb County

The Georgia Department of Transportation reported just before 7 a.m. that all northbound lanes of I-75 were shut down at Wade Green Road because of ice.

A wintry mix of sleet, rain and snow began falling across the northern suburbs around 4 a.m. Tuesday, while snow was reported across the mountain counties. Drivers are urged to check current traffic conditions before leaving home. Read the full story and forecast.
