Carver of Columbus is looking for a new football coach, FootballScoop is reporting. Joe Kegler's record is 27-7, including 9-2 in 2015. Carver has played up in Class AAAAA the past two seasons after playing in AAA in 2012 and 2013 and AA as recently as 2011. Kegler has been at Carver for nine seasons. He was offensive coordinator for three seasons before getting the head coaching job.

The Rockdale County head coaching job is listed as open by TeachGeorgia. Venson Elder is 16-24 in his four seasons, including 2-8 in 2015. Rockdale has had one winning season (6-4 in 2013) since its 2009 Class AAAA semifinal team.

Jim Brown is out as Jordan's head coach. Brown's teams were 8-32 in four seasons. Jordan has not had a winning season since 1993.
