Falcons waive safety Zeke Motta

FLOWERY BRANCH --The Falcons waived safety Zeke Motta, who was trying to recover from a severe neck injury, on Thursday.
Motta, 6-0, 206 pounds, was selected by the Falcons in the seventh round (244th overall) of the 2013 NFL Draft out of Notre Dame. He played in 10 games with one start as a rookie in 2013, recording 16 tackles (nine solo) and one pass defense.
