While Atlanta has hit the 90-degree mark for the eighth day in a row, traffic in Cobb County is beginning to cool down after a cluttered past hour.
A crash that nearly shut down I-75 North at I-285 has cleared, but heavy delays remain in it's wake, according to the WSB 24-hour Traffic Center. The crash involved two vehicles, and three people have non-life-threatening injuries, according to the Georgia State Patrol.
Delays elsewhere are mostly due to evening commute volume. However, that isn’t true for downtown, where Martin Luther King Jr. Drive is blocked at Hill Street for filming, according to the Traffic Center.

North Georgia is finally seeing a downward trend after a heatwave brought several days of record-setting temps over the weekend, according to Channel 2 Action News.
The city hit 91 degrees at 3 p.m. and has since dropped to 90.
“Officially, still about three weeks to go until summertime starts — don’t tell nature that,” Channel 2 meteorologist Brian Monahan said. “We're already way above average, and it's going to be another warm day today, even though temperatures come down a little bit.”
Numbers are expected to come down even further to end the week, according to Channel 2.
“We're going to go from highs in the 90s today down into the 80s for the rest of the five-day forecast,” Monahan said. “That’s going to come with some more clouds and some chances of rain.”
With a cold front moving in, showers are 30 percent likely on Friday and 10 percent likely on Sunday, according to the latest forecast. Monahan said any rain will be “light and spotty stuff.”
The rain and the clouds will help with the heat, he said.
