Weather in metro Atlanta and north Georgia should continue its swings this weekend.
“We’re in a seesaw,” Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Brian Monahan said Saturday morning. “It’s the time of year when we get a struggle between seasons, if you will.

“We’re more on the winter side of things right now.”
Saturday’s temp about 5:15 p.m. was 56, with a high of 61 expected.
That high would be about 10 degrees below the average for the date, and well below Friday’s high of 74.
There’s a 60 percent chance of rain, which Monahan said will come in “pockets.”

Then comes a freeze alert for tonight through 10 a.m. Sunday, according to the National Weather Service. This is for areas mainly along and north of Carrollton to Marietta to Cleveland.
Atlanta should see a low temp of 35 on Saturday.
Sunday should bring a high of 62, but no rain is in the forecast, as it should be clearing out overnight.
