A new sale from Frontier Airlines will take you places far and wide now through mid-December at budget prices.

What makes this sale so special is that there are no Thanksgiving blackout dates. Even though we're not quite close to the Labor Day Weekend, plan ahead and buy your holiday tickets today.

Frontier publishes its sale rates as one-way with the lowest rates available for travel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. Sale rates are just $10 higher on other days except Sundays when regular rates apply.

The following one-way rates are exclusive of taxes and fees. Factor in about $25 each way.

  • $124 Jackson Hole, Wyo. or Salt Lake City
  • $129 Bozeman, Mont.; Las Vegas; San Diego or Spokane, Wash.
  • $134 Aspen or Colorado Springs, Colo. or Seattle
  • $139 Albuquerque, N.M.; Durango, Colo. or Santa Barbara, Calif.
  • $144 Sacramento, Calif.
  • $149 Boise, Idaho
  • $154 Portland, Ore.

To qualify, give at least a two-week advance notice of travel. Finish trips on or before Dec. 15. Buy tickets through Sunday, Aug. 7 at www.frontierairlines.com.

Frontier serves these destinations with one flight connection in Denver. Stopovers are not permitted.

Sale airfares are always subject to change. Every seat on every flight is not offered at the lowest rate. Since only a limited supply of seats is available, act quickly to make your purchase.

I recommend starting the search for available seats at Kayak.com vs. calling an airline directly. You can also search for the sale at the carrier's web site or at travel Web sites such as Expedia or Travelocity, etc.
