April in Paris. It can be your reality if you act quickly on an outstanding airfare offer from British Airways.

A today-only rate of $888 is valid on April 8-May 16 departures.

Add $30 each way when traveling Fridays-Sundays.

Stay at least one Saturday night and no more than 180 days.

British Airways serves Paris via Miami on the outbound and London on the return flight. Stopovers are not permitted.

Wouldn’t this be the ideal Valentine’s Day present?

Sale airfares are always subject to change. Every seat on every flight is not offered at the lowest rate. Since only a limited supply of seats is available, act quickly to make your purchase.

I recommend starting the search for available seats at Kayak.com vs. calling an airline directly. You can also search for the sale at travel websites such as Expedia, Orbitz or Travelocity, etc. Airlines can discontinue or pull a sale price without notice when the offer does not have a “ticket-by” date or when the offer is deemed “sold out.”

Consider skipping a stay in a cookie cutter hotel and staying Parisian-style in a charming apartment. Room rates start from $90 a night and suite rates are from $120.

The website www.parisbandb.com offers these rates which are inclusive of breakfast, applicable taxes and service charges. A three-night minimum stay is required.

Save on separate museum entrance fees with the purchase of a Paris Museum Pass. The pass offers direct and unlimited access to over 60 museums (permanent collections only) and monuments in Paris and the Paris region for a period of 2, 4 or 6 days. At some attractions you can even move to the front of the line for entrance.

For instance, separately purchased admission fees to the Louvre Museum is 10€; Palace of Versailles 18€; Arc de Triomphe 9.50€, Notre Dame 8.50€; Musée d’Orsay 9€. But with the pass you’ll pay 39€ for two-day admissions or 54€ for four days.

For the complete list of monuments and museums, or to purchase the pass, visit www.conciergerie.com/paris/pass/paris_museum_pass.php. This website also lets you explore a number of other options to save on regional day tours, hop-on/off buses, metro transportation, river boat trips and more.
