Durango Mountain Resort has been selected as one of the “7 Great Mountains to Ski” by Ski Magazine , featuring slopes for every skill level from beginner to expert, world-class skiers. The resort formerly known as Purgatory Ski Resort - and now changed to Durango Mountain Resort - is located about 25 miles north of Durango, Colorado in the rugged, scenic San Juan Mountains. The resort boasts an average annual snowfall of 260 inches, with over 300 days of sunshine for fantastic ski conditions.

Get to Durango at one-way rates of $125.60 on trips started on or after Jan. 7 and completed by Feb. 13, 2013. This sale rate is not valid Fridays or Sundays. Buy tickets through Dec. 10. Participating carriers are American (connecting service via Dallas-Fort Worth) and United Airlines (connection required in Denver).

Sale airfares are always subject to change. Every seat on every flight is not offered at the lowest rate. Since only a limited supply of seats is available, act quickly to make your purchase.

I recommend starting the search for available seats at Kayak.com vs. calling an airline directly. You can also search for the sale at travel websites such as Expedia, Orbitz or Travelocity, etc.
