During Miami Museum Month, May 1-31, Miami's premier museums and other leading cultural attractions are offering the best value in town. Visitors on short-breaks can take advantage of Miami Museum Month's "Buy One, Get One Free" admission to any participating museum. (Persons with an ID that shows proof of residency outside of Miami-Dade County are considered a visitor.)
During this month-long program, purchasing a membership at any one of the participating museums will work as a free pass to any of the other partner museums.
The Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB; http://www.miamiandbeaches.com) has increased participation to fifteen cultural attractions this year. These include:

Several participating attractions are supporting this campaign with an additional 10% savings at the museum store in May, including: Bass Museum of Art, Haitian Heritage Museum, Historical Museum of Southern Florida, Lowe Art Museum, Miami Art Museum, Miami Beach Botanical Garden, Miami Children's Museum, Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA), and the Miami Science Museum.
The Miami Museum Month kick-off party will be held May 1 from 7-10 p.m. with live music and open studios of some of Miami's finest contemporary artists. The event will be located throughout the ArtCenter/South Florida's multiple locations on 800/810/924 Lincoln Road.
