Budget rates on Great Smoky Mountains visit

Here's an ideal getaway package to the Great Smoky Mountains -- and just in time for the start of the leaf peeping season.

The Doubletree Park Vista recently completed an $11 million renovation and now invites guests to come and stay for just $99 per night through Oct. 10. This budget rates includes a room upgrade to a mountain view or city view (with private balcony) and a $25 dining and beverage credit.

This fine hotel is situated on the Gatlinburg Trolley route and near to shopping, dining and the downtown area. The location is prime at the edge of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and just a 15-minute drive to the Dollywood Amusement Park. I

Guest rooms feature plush signature bedding and on-site is an indoor pool, hot tub, fitness center and a restaurant.
