Androids are under attack from a new, sophisticated form of malware that can be devastating to effected devices, Lookout reports.
Shedun, Shuanet and Shiftybug are a family of Trojans that root the device automatically then pose as already installed apps while gathering information in the background, the report says.
The worst part? The malware is so difficult and complex that the only two remedies are either professional help or buying a new phone.
Lookout says the Trojans can be disguised as one of 20,000 different apps.
