Jeff Sentell joined DawgNation in 2015 to cover UGA football and UGA recruiting. The 1998 graduate of the University of Georgia's Henry W. Grady College of Journalism has been a staff writer at news outlets in Alabama, Georgia and Virginia. Before joining The Atlanta Journal-Constitution and Cox Enterprises, he covered high school sports and college recruiting for eight years at The Birmingham News and AL.com.
Jeff and his wife Erin have two children and live in Woodstock. He's won numerous national and state association writing awards, including being named the 2005 Georgia Press Association Sportswriter of the Year when he was at The Augusta Chronicle.
