Southern Fried Soccer: My memories of Atlanta United’s first season

090116 Atlanta: The first seats were installed at Mercedes-Benz Stadium during a ceremony Thursday September 1, 2016. The estimated $1.5 billion dollar stadium is scheduled to be complete in June 2017. The project is using some of the largest crawler cranes in the world to help lift the massive steel beams into place for the retractable roof. BRANT SANDERLIN/BSANDERLIN@AJC.COM
