Atlanta United will be without defensive midfielder Eric Remedi when it hosts Dallas on Saturday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Remedi sustained a concussion in the first minute of last week’s 2-0 win at New England when he and Luis Caicedo collided.

Remedi, 23, has started in each of Atlanta United’s (1-2-2) five MLS games this season. He hasn’t trained with the first team this week. He is expected to re-join the team next week.

In Remedi’s place, manager Frank de Boer could select Jeff Larentowicz or Darlington Nagbe.

Atlanta United will also be without fullback George Bello (groin), who has yet to play for the senior team after starting the first game at Herediano in the Champions League in February. De Boer said they don’t want to rush his recovery and risk a setback.

Kevin Kratz (calf), who has one appearance this season, will also be out Saturday. He suffered his injury during the preseason but came off the bench in the second game against Monterrey.

De Boer said that Pity Martinez is not 100 percent healthy, but added that’s not abnormal. Martinez trained all of last week and this week. De Boer said they don’t want to overload Martinez and risk a setback. Martinez came off the bench at New England.

Healthcare at College Park, a nursing home in Fulton County, GA, stands shuttered with its door chained on July 26, 2025, having closed in recent months. Researchers at Brown University developed a list of U.S. nursing homes they predicted were at risk of closing based on 2023 data, and would be at elevated risk of closing due to the One Big, Beautiful Bill Act's cuts to Medicaid. Healthcare at College Park was on their list. It survived past its last federal inspection in August of 2024 but has now closed down. The bill's biggest provisions will roll out over years starting Jan. 1. (Ariel Hart/AJC)
