Just before midnight on the East Coast, Houston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve fielded a ground ball hit by Los Angeles Dodgers Corey Seager and threw to first baseman Yuli Gurriel for the final out in Game 7 and officially making the Astros World Series Champions.
After the Dodgers tied the series 3-3 on Tuesday night, the Astros won the finale, 5-1, at Dodger Stadium.

Even though the Astros became champions away from Houston, their fans rallied at Minute Maid Park.
