The adrenaline is surging within the Georgia Tech fan base after a big victory against then-ranked North Carolina on Saturday that was preceded by a closer-than-expected loss to Clemson.

When Tech’s season began, the Yellow Jackets’ schedule included five teams ranked in the top 14 of the preseason Top 25. Clemson (No. 3), North Carolina (10) and Miami (14) have fallen well short of those early expectations, so the Jackets could go on a run of victories that would take them into South Bend in late November with only two losses.
