Georgia fans and SEC fans alike erupted on social media this week criticizing the decision to sell out-of-state barbecue in Sanford Stadium this season.

The Bulldogs’ in-state rivals from the ACC were also quick to add to the criticism.

“Hey, even we know Dreamland BBQ is really a (University of Alabama) thing,” Georgia Tech tweeted.

Earlier in the week, the University of Georgia announced Tuscaloosa-based Dreamland BBQ would be one of the new concessions partners added to Sanford Stadium this season along with Dunkin’ Donuts. The University also announced the Gate 6 Plaza was turned into a food court with food stands for Chick-fil-A, Dreamland BBQ and Papa John’s.
