Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers spoke to the Atlanta media on Wednesday.

Here’s what he had to say:

Q: How are you all dealing with the injuries?

A: "It's been a disjointed season at times with the injuries that we've had to try to find our rhythm on offense Last week was out of necessity, throwing the ball that many teams. That was based on the health of our football team. We'll evaluate that as the week goes on and try and get the young guys up to speed as quick as possible."

Q: Can the Packers’ short passing game work against the Falcons who struggled against the Chargers short passing game?

A: "It's about execution when you're playing good defenses. Atlanta has a lot of young guys playing, but they're playing very well. They've got a good pass-rush, they have two very good corners, (Robert) Alford and (Desmond) Trufant, and some young guys who are doing a really good job as well — (Brian) Poole and (Ricardo) Allen and (Keanu) Neal. Neal is making a lot of plays. So it's about efficiency in the passing game. Phil (Rivers) made some good throws in the passing game last week and did a good job of making plays when they needed to. Anytime you're playing an offense with Matt (Ryan) the way he's playing, and obviously Julio and the weapons they have, you're going to have to find a way to be efficient."

Q: What advice have you given Matt Ryan about the process of winning a championship?

A: "To be honest with you, Matt doesn't need a lot of advice. I've enjoyed spending time with him. I started with him. He was a rookie and it was my first year starting and I remember they came up here and were running the no-huddle against us. I was just so impressed by what they able to do on the field. The fun thing is that when you have respect for a guy on the field and getting to know him off the field, getting to know him off the field, getting to know him as a good person, Matt is a great guy and fun to be around. We've played a few rounds of golf together at Lake Tahoe over the years and I always enjoy seeing him out there and pulling for him as well, because he's one of the good guys. He's one of the elite guys as well. He's had a great year. He's playing excellent. He's making great throws. He and Julio have a great connection, but he's been getting the other guys involved as well. Two good backs who can stretch the field in the run game and the passing game, and it's fun to see Matt doing well. I look forward to seeing him."

Q: What’s have you seen from Vic Beasley?

A: "Vic is playing great. He's a high-motor guy, very athletic, a second- and third-effort player. But also strong enough at the point to bull (rush), to (move from) speed to power, to speed to spin. I would guess having a vet in the group like Dwight would help all those guys because Dwight has a wealth of knowledge and moves over the years. Passing that stuff along has probably been really good for him. But yeah, (Beasley) is a guy you have to account for on every play. He's a difference-maker."

Q: How do you prepare for Atlanta’s speed on defense?

A: "That's definitely something that jumps out. You've got the type of team they want on the turf there: Athletic, fast and doing a good job with tackling. A lot of young guys playing, so just in general, you look at the year of players, you'd maybe expect more lapses in coverages or guys missing plays, but you're not seeing that on the film, I don't think. You're seeing the high effort, the guys flying around the field. Neal, I think Neal is doing a good job. The defense's roots are similar to Seattle and he's kind in that Kam Chancellor role. He's doing a really good job. He's an impressive player."

Q: How’s Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson doing with his comeback this season?

A: "He's doing a good job. He's doing everything that we need him to do. Feeling probably more confident every week. It's been great having him back. He's a great leader in the locker room. A great a person to watch practice on the field. He's got incredible practice habits. We are really enjoying him being back. He's really picked everybody else's game up, I think along the way."
