Here are the top 10 cornerback prospects (with projected draft round) for the NFL draft, which is set for Thursday through Saturday in Philadelphia:

  1. Marshon Lattimore, 6-foot, 193 pounds, Ohio State (first):He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.36 seconds at the scouting combine. He played in 20 games with 13 starts for the Buckeyes. He led the Buckeyes in passes defended (13) and finished second in interceptions (4). He was named first-team All-Big Ten.
  2. Marlon Humphrey, 6-0, 197, Alabama (first):He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.41 seconds at the scouting combine. He started 29 games over the past two seasons for the Crimson Tide. He is comfortable in playing press man-to-man and in zone coverages. He lined up mostly on the left side.
  3. Sidney Jones, 6-0, 186, Washington (third):Suffered an Achilles injury during his Pro Day workout and his draft stock dropped. He'll be a good pick for a team that will allow him to watch and learn for his rookie season. Considered a nice cover corner and dynamic hitter.
  4. Kevin King, 6-3, 200, Washington (first):Came on strong after a dazzling work out at the scouting combine. He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.43 seconds. He was a three-year starter for the Huskies. He started at safety before moving to right cornerback his final two seasons. He had broke up 15 passes last season.
  5. Tre'Davious White, 5-11, 192, LSU (first-second):He was a finalist for the Jim Thorpe award. White returned to LSU for his senior season and set a career-high 16 pass breakups, 35 tackles and two interceptions as he was named first-team All-SEC and All-American. He also was a strong tackler in run support.
  6. Teez Tabor, 6-0, 199, Florida (first-second):A strong and physical player, who can blitz off the corner. He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.62 seconds. He was a three-year starter for the Gators.
  7. Gareon Conley, 6-0, 195, Ohio State (first-second):He played 41 games and made 26 starts over three seasons for the Buckeyes. In 2016, he started all 13 games as a junior and had career-highs in 12 pass breakups and four interceptions. He skipped his final season of eligibility and entered the draft.
  8. Fabian Moreau, 6-0, 206, UCLA (second):He played 51 games and made 40 starts over his five-year career, which included a three-game medical redshirt season in 2015. He played mostly left cornerback in press-man and off coverage for the Bruins. He also has some experience playing inside against slot receivers.
  9. Jourdan Lewis, 5-10, 188, Michigan (second):He played in 48 games and made 30 starts for the Wolverines. Ran the 40-yard dash in 4.45 seconds at his Pro Day and has a 34.5-inch vertical jump.
  10. Chidobe Awuzie, 6-0, 202, Colorado (second):He played in 48 games and made 43 starts for the Buffaloes. Finely tuned and balanced athlete with great footwork. He fast enough to stay hip-to-hip with receivers.
