Falcons coach Dan Quinn is curious about Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson. and is looking forward to see him throw at the NFL scouting combine on Saturday.

There is controversy surrounding the multi-talented Jackson after former NFL executive Bill Polian said he should be switched to wide receiver in the NFL.

“I’m anxious to see him throw,” Quinn said. “I really want to see him compete and battle. I hope like heck he’s not in our division.”

Jackson, who’s not a classic drop back quarterback and had accuracy issues in college, isn’t projected to go in the first round by most draft analysts.

“Those are the type of guys who have unique stuff,” Quinn said. “It’s not one size that fits all. It’s how you feature the guys best. If you have a guy like him, you’re going to get him on the run a hell of a lot and not make him just sit in the pocket and go that way.”
