The Patriots were underdogs.

But not for long.

Immediately after the Patriots advanced to Super Bowl LIII in Atlanta with an overtime victory over the Chiefs Sunday, they were one -point underdogs to the Rams, who advanced with an overtime win of their own against the Saints.

According to BetOnline, soon after the Rams opened as one-point favorites, early action on the Patriots, at well over 80 percent, flipped the line. The Patriots are now two-point favorites.

The total points over/under number is 58, according to BetOnline. It’s the second-high opening total number in Super Bowl history. The Falcons versus Patriots in Super Bowl LI opened with a total of 59. The total closed at 57 and the teams combined for 62 points in the Patriots’ 34-28 win.
