Falcons first-round pick Chris Lindstrom, who was selected 14th overall, opened training camp Monday with the first-team offense.

“It’s definitely an indicator of where we see him starting right now,” Falcons coach Dan Quinn said after the first workout. “He’d earned a lot of that through spring with (how) he performed. He’s still has some work (to do) as we are going through (training camp). Different combinations, it wasn’t exclusively to that way, but that’s how we begin.”

Ty Sambrailo opened at right tackle. Tackle Kaleb McGary, who was selected 29th overall in the first round, had an uneven practice as he lost a few battles with defensive tackle Ra’Shede Hageman.
