Falcons re-sign reserve cornerback Wreh-Wilson

The Falcons resigned reserve cornerback Blidi Wreh-Wilson on Saturday.

Wreh-Wilson, who was a third-round pick by the Tennessee Titans, has revived his career with the Falcons.

Last season, with Desmond Trufant out with a concussion, Wreh-Wilson made his first start as a Falcon against the Vikings and played well. He made two tackles and broke up one pass. He played in eight games overall.

Wreh-Wilson was originally signed by the Falcons in 2016 after spending three seasons with the Tennessee Titans.

After the Vikings game, Wreh-Wilson addressed if he’d revived his career.

“If that is what it does, that’s what it does,” Wreh-Wilson said. “I know for myself, I got here last year and every opportunity that I’ve had the coaches have done a great job of coaching me and preparing me in this system. Whatever happens from that, that’s what happens.”
