As a free agent, punter Michael Koenen signed with Tampa Bay for more money this off-season, but the former Falcons player won’t get a playoff share this season.
The Buccaneers (4-11) are limping to the finish line, while the Falcons (9-6) have clinched a playoff spot and are waiting to find out where and when they will play in the first round.
Koenen played six seasons with the Falcons, joining the team as an undrafted free agent.
