Falcons’ Clayborn to serve as honorary captain at Iowa this season

Sept 14, 2017Atlanta Falcons defensive end Adrian Clayborn wrote on Twitter on Wednesday that Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz asked him to serve as an honorary captain this season for the Hawkeyes.
Clayborn wrote that he will be an honorary captain for Iowa’s homecoming game against Illinois on Oct. 7.
A former Iowa defensive end from 2007-10, Clayborn was drafted in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Clayborn signed with the Falcons in 2015 after four seasons with the Buccaneers.
