Georgia Tech has made the cut for 3-star athlete Quindarious Hale’s top five schools as of October.

In addition to Georgia Tech, the Carver High School junior’s top choices are Florida, Florida State, Auburn and Cincinnati.

Hale received a 2018 offer from Georgia Tech on Sept. 30 which he confirmed his offer by a post on his Twitter page writing that he was "blessed to receive an offer" from Georgia Tech.

The 6-foot-4, 175 pound wide receiver doubles as a strong safety and has several offers from schools including Florida, Florida State, Auburn, Cincinnati, Iowa State, Alabama- Birmingham, App State and Jacksonville State and is expecting more in the next few months.

Hale said he is also being recruited by Georgia, but doesn’t have an offer yet.

Hale visited Tech for the Yellow Jackets’ 26-7 loss to Clemson game, but the loss didn’t ruin the experience for him.

“I’d like to play in that type of atmosphere — it was so loud,” Hale said. “Georgia Tech is looking good, they just got to get over the hump.”

Hale’s favorite player to watch when he visited Bobby Dodd Stadium on Sept. 22 was Tech defensive back AJ Gray, who he played against in high school.

Hale would like to be committed next year toward the middle of his senior season, but is still using his junior year to think about where he wants to spend his collegiate years.

“I’m looking for discipline, a winning program and with people that make me feel like I’m at home,” Hale said. “The coaches, I want to be able to talk to them whenever I’m going through anything.”

Academically, Hale is debating on majoring in business or chemical engineering.

“I’m looking for a good education good atmosphere people that love me and people that treat me like I’m at home… I was going to major in business, but I’m debating if I want to major in business or mechanical engineering.”
