Georgia Tech right tackle Chris Griffin has joined B-back Zach Laskey on the list of players ruled out for Saturday’s game against Pittsburgh.

Griffin and Laskey, as well as backup A-back Austin McClellan, were on the team’s injury report released Thursday. Like Laskey, Griffin is listed as having a shoulder injury. McClellan suffered a concussion.

Griffin, a redshirt freshman, has started all seven of the Yellow Jackets’ games this season. Errin Joe and Eason Fromayan are possibilities to sub for Griffin. Fromayan started in place of left tackle Bryan Chamberlain when he missed the Duke game with an ankle injury. Coaches also auditioned No. 2 center Andrew Marshall at the position this week.

Griffin’s absence will be just the second missed start by a Tech offensive lineman this season, following Chamberlain.
