No search firm, no interim yet in GSU AD search

Georgia State’s search for a new athletic director remains in stasis six days after Cheryl Levick announced that she would transition to a new role on July 1.
A Georgia State spokeswoman on Thursday said a contract with a search firm to target candidates hasn’t been signed.
The university used the firm Parker Executive Search when it hired football coach Trent Miles and men’s basketball coach Ron Hunter.
President Mark Becker also hasn’t announced who the interim athletic director will be. Becker said he hopes to have the next full-time athletic director named by August.
