Georgia Tech in final three for Virginia guard

Sept 14, 2017

Georgia Tech is in the final three for guard Xavier Johnson of Arlington, Va. Johnson posted his final three Wednesday, placing Tech in the group along with Nebraska and Georgetown. He is rated a three-star guard by 247 Sports and a four-star prospect by ESPN.

Johnson, 6-foot-3, cut his list down from a top six he selected in early August. After the commitment of Kristian Sjolund on August 20, coach Josh Pastner has two more spots available. Tech is also recruiting higher-profile prospects such as guard Mike Devoe and forward Nassir Little, both of whom made an official visit together to Tech in late August. Johnson attends Bishop O’Connell High.

Tricky Top 3❗️
