Former Georgia Tech center Sean Bedford will succeed Roddy Jones as the color analyst for the team’s radio broadcasts. Bedford, a two-time All-ACC center, had previously contributed to the broadcasts as a co-host of the pre-game show and occasional sideline reporter. He will team with Tech voice Brandon Gaudin, entering his third season calling Yellow Jackets football, basketball and baseball.

Jones left the broadcast team in July to be a sideline reporter on ACC Network broadcasts. He was the analyst for the 2014 season, replacing longtime color man Rick Strom. Bedford gained acclaim among Tech fans for coming to Tech as a walk-on before winning a starting job on the 2009 ACC championship team and earning a degree in aerospace engineering. He is now a patent attorney living in Atlanta.

“It’s been a privilege to represent the Institute in my previous capacity as the pregame co-host,” Bedford said. “I’m excited for the opportunity to move forward and do it in-game now.”
