The NCAA tournament starts Tuesday with a pair of play-in games, then gets going in full force Thursday.

The Georgia State (24-9) is the only team from the state to earn and NCAA bid. The Panthers are making their second-straight appearance for the first time in program history and third in the last five years.

Georgia State is the No. 14 seed in the Midwest, facing third-seeded Houston (31-3) at 7:20 p.m. Friday in Tulsa, Okla.

The Blue Devils (East) earned the top overall seed, joining Virginia (South), North Carolina (Midwest) and Gonzaga (West) as No. 1 seeds for the three-week hoops extravaganza that kicks off this week.

The Final Four is set for April 6-8 in Minneapolis, where Duke is the early 9-4 favorite to win it all.
