A brief recap of the Hawks’ Game 2 win over the Nets:

How the game was won: Kyle Korver made a pair of free throws with 8.1 seconds remaining to give Atlanta a four-point lead, and DeMarre Carroll moments later blocked a 3-point shot by Brooklyn's Alan Anderson as the Hawks held off a pesky squad from Brooklyn for a 2-0 series lead.

Paul Millsap led Atlanta with 19 points on 7-of-11 shooting.

Brooklyn led midway through the third quarter, and after the Hawks seized the lead the Nets pulled within 90-89 on Jarrett Jack’s 3-pointer with 1:55 left in the game. But Deron Williams missed a potential game-tying jumper from 16 feet with 11 seconds left and Korver made his free throws after pulling the rebound and being fouled.

Korver added 17 points, Jeff Teague 16 and Al Horford 14 with a game-high 13 rebounds. Jack led all scorers with 23.

Turning point: Pero Antic scored all eight of his points in the third quarter, when his 3-pointer with 4:39 gave Atlanta the lead for good at 63-61. Antic added a free throw moments later, and after a Millsap score he dunked off a feed inside from Schroder.

Number: 5. Atlanta had five double-digit scorers, including Dennis Schroder (12) off the bench.

Next: The Hawks and Nets will meet in Brooklyn Saturday afternoon for Game 3.
