NEXT: AT PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES

Friday

Time: 7:05 p.m.

TV: FSSO

Probable starting pitchers:

Braves LH Alex Wood (1-0, 3.93) vs. RH Aaron Harang (2-1, 1.96)

Comment: The Braves have lost Wood's past two turns despite quality starts from him in both. Wood took a 4-0 lead into the seventh in his last start in Toronto and gave up three runs in the inning, including one on a controversial call at first base. The Blue Jays rallied for a 6-5 win on a Josh Donaldson walk-off. Harang used a 12-win, 3.57 ERA season with the Braves last season to resurrect his career, and he's kept up the good work this season for the Phillies. He leads their staff in wins and ERA. Harang's only loss came to the Mets, 2-0, after he gave up one run in six innings.

Saturday

Time: 7:05 p.m.

TV: FSSO

Probable starting pitchers: Braves RH Shelby Miller (2-0, 1.69) vs. RH David Buchanan (0-3, 9.22)

Comment: Miller has been the Braves' most consistent starter, allowing only three earned runs in 16 innings in his three starts as a Brave. He's walked seven and struck out 11, while opponents have hit only .211 against him. Buchanan, who grew up in Fayetteville and pitched for Georgia State, has been the other end of the spectrum for the Phillies. He's lost his first three starts, albeit getting a little better each time out. He faced the Braves twice last year, going 0-1 with a 4.00 ERA, allowing seven runs in nine innings overall, but only four runs were earned.

Sunday

Time: 1:35 p.m.

TV: FSSO

Probable starting pitchers: Braves RH Trevor Cahill (0-2, 9.95) vs. RH Jerome Williams (1-1, 3.71)

Comment: Cahill's previous outing, against the Mets, unraveled after a Phil Gosselin error and thwarted the progress he showed over the first four scoreless innings. The sinkerballer lost his rhythm pitching from the stretch, something he'll look to improve upon against the Phillies. The journeyman Williams started once against the Braves last year after the Rangers traded him to the Phillies, allowing four runs in six innings (including a Chris Johnson homer) of a no decision.
