NEXT: AT WASHINGTON NATIONALS

Friday

Time: 7:05 p.m.

TV: FSSO

Probable starting pitchers: Braves LH Eric Stults (1-2, 4.91) vs. LH Gio Gonzalez (2-2, 3.86)

Comment: Stults is eager to get back on the mound after a rough go against the Reds, giving up a season-high six runs in seven innings. The Reds got to him for 11 hits, including two home runs. Right-handers are hitting .296 with five homers off Stults, compared with .226 and no homers from lefties. The Braves get their first look at Gonzalez this season, a guy they've faced 11 times over the past four seasons with good success. Gonzalez is only 2-8 with a 5.20 ERA against the Braves.

Saturday

Time: 4:05 p.m.

TV: FSSO

Probable starting pitchers: Braves RH Julio Teheran (3-1, 3.82) vs. RH Doug Fister (2-1, 2.61)

Comment: Just like that Teheran is looking like himself again. He pitched six shutout innings against the Reds his last time out to erase concerns of his three previous starts (0-1, 7.20 ERA). One of the bad outings came against Washington (seven runs allowed, three of which were earned), but the Nationals are used to seeing a dominant Teheran. He's 3-2 with a 3.23 ERA in nine starts against them. The Braves won the only game of three against the Nationals at Turner Field on April 27-29, against Fister.

Sunday

Time: 1:35 p.m.

TV: FSSO

Probable starting pitchers: Braves LH Alex Wood (1-2, 4.32) vs. RH Jordan Zimmermann (2-2, 4.15)

Comment: Five starts into his season, Wood is still looking for a rhythm. He's gone from getting by (going 1-0 with a 3.00 ERA through his first three starts) to getting worse (Wood has lost his past two while allowing eight earned runs in 9 1/3 innings, 7.71 ERA.) Zimmermann hasn't been super sharp either, but has rounded into form his past two starts, allowing four earned runs in 14 innings. Those include a win over the Braves on April 29.
