When Tim Tebow hit his third home run of the season for the Columbia Fireflies, a Class A minor-league team for the New York Mets, there was buzz in some corners of the media that he had a shot at getting called up to the big-league club later this season.

Not so fast, says offshore sportsbook Bookmaker.eu, who released odds for whether or not Tebow would remain in the minors during the 2017 season.

They put his chances of making the majors at 150/1, which means it would take a $100 bet could pay off at $15,000 if the Mets call him up.

With the rain coming down hard, he started out 2-for-2 Wednesday.

He entered Wednesday batting .230 with a .369 slugging percentage and 14 RBI in 122 at bats.
