Braves All-Star center fielder Ender Inciarte set a career season-single high with his seventh home run on Wednesday.

Inciarte's two-run shot tied the game in the fifth against the Astros before the Braves went on lose 10-4. With 79 games to play this season Inciarte has a chance to top the 13 total home runs he hit over his first three seasons in the big leagues.

“I think with time you develop more power or you are smarter at the plate with swinging at some pitches,” Inciarte said. “That’s what I’ve been trying to do… .I’m not trying to do too much but I think I can pick my spots sometimes and try to hit the gaps. Sometimes they are going to go out and sometimes they are not.”

Inciarte, 26, is hitting .305 with a .350 on-base percentage over 83 games and is one of the top defensive outfielders in the majors. He was selected to his first All-Star team and is set to play in the game next week in Miami.
